At the height of summer, when the sun lingers longest over the mountains and the land hums with life, we brew this blend to honor the moment. Litha — the Summer Solstice — is the great turning point of the Wheel, a celebration of light, abundance, and the deep vitality of the natural world.
Our Summer Solstice Botanical Blend captures that radiant energy in every cup. Bright calendula petals carry the warmth of the sun, while lemon balm lifts the spirit with its gentle, citrus-kissed calm. Green rooibos grounds the blend with a smooth, earthy base — light enough for a warm afternoon, nourishing enough to mark something sacred. Great hot, exceptional iced.
Hand-crafted in small batches in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, this is the first release in our Wheel of the Year collection — eight seasonal teas honoring the ancient Celtic festivals that turn with the earth itself.
BREWING SUGGESTIONS
Use 1 Tbsp per cup of hot (200 degree F) water. Steep for 5-10 minutes (or longer - the longer you steep, the more flavor will infuse - the brew will not turn bitter) and enjoy. On a warm summer day, make ahead of time and chill in the ‘fridge for a superior refreshing drink.
For Sun Tea - use 1 Tbsp per cup of room temperature water. Place in a large re-usable tea bag and then into a glass container. Let steep in the sun for 30 minutes to 2 hours until the color is a deep yellow/orange. Enjoy over ice.
Ingredients: Calendula flowers, lemon balm, green rooibos and more!Caffeine-free. 2.2 oz loose leaf collectable tin.
